Yes, it's been awhile since the last post.  Bridgework progressed on the approach to the east pier.

There are huge piles of dirt being delivered via Olympiad Drive.

Layer after layer is being laid down, sandwiching netting and rebar with the delivered dirt, with the edges wrapped with fabric.  It must be the machines tamping down the dirt that makes an especially loud noise.

This is page 33 of the plan; a guess at what is currently being constructed.

Week of May 19, 2026

Work continues to build up the approach to the bridge.  The narrower segment is the foundation for the ramp to allow pedestrian (and kayak) access to the beach.
